How To Use Raw Food Diet To Treat Eczema

Maya had eczema since childhood. She had many relapses in which her body was completely covered with large red spots.

Be sure to eat a variety of foods that can help you keep your protein levels high, as proteins are one of the most important nutrients in building the body. Many people who switch from omnivores to veganism experience a drop in protein levels because full proteins are not found in a single fruit or vegetable.

As a result, you may want to use vegan supplements to keep methionine and lysine levels at the same level, as these two nutrients can be lacking, especially in raw vegan foods.

Also, be sure to monitor your vitamin B12 levels. This is one of the essential vitamins for the human body and is mainly found in meat and its products.

This vitamin is very important for brain function and the nervous system to build hemoglobin and prevent anemia. Plant food sources contain relatively small amounts of this vitamin and its availability is low. It is therefore recommended that raw vegans be tested occasionally by a doctor and given a supplement of this vitamin if needed.

Iron is another very important mineral to look out for when going raw. Iron is used to build hemoglobin, and its absence can cause anemia, fatigue, and growth retardation. Usually, the amount of iron and its rate of absorption in plant-based food sources are lower than in animal-based food sources, making vegans more prone to iron deficiency.

Iron found in plant-based food sources is known as non-heme and is heavily influenced by other substances that improve or decrease its absorption. For example, vitamin C is an effective absorption enhancer when included in the same meal that contains iron.

In this case, vitamin C significantly increases iron absorption in the blood. Since caffeine is found in coffee and tea, it inhibits iron absorption. To avoid dairy products, calcium must be completed from other sources. Failure to eat animal food sources such as fish and eggs can lead to a lack of essential fatty acids, particularly omega-3s. It is therefore recommended that you use alternative sources such as seaweed and seaweed, walnuts, chia seeds, and ground flax seeds.

Stay well hydrated when you eat raw by drinking plenty of water with and between meals and eating plenty of moisturizing foods like watermelon and cucumber on a regular basis.
