How do you write a good text in English? 4 tips for each type of text

Having the first conversation in your new language is an event you will not forget. Be it a chat with locals on the beach promenade in Rio de Janeiro, a French cooking evening with native speakers or choosing a bike in Amsterdam! When you are in a new language orally you will quickly get pleasure in doing this written to do. Tip 4: Mark your own opinion as well as someone else's thoughts

If you have put the full stop after the last sentence, you will definitely look with pride at your English-language text - after all, it is your work. Our last tip is to take this into account, i.e. to express your own opinion as such. Conversely, of course, this also means clearly marking the thoughts of others as such. The reference to the source is an important writing practice, because it clarifies your position within a larger discussion - and last but not least can protect you against allegations of plagiarism.

Especially in English-language texts, it is good form to prominently explain your own point of view as such, for example through in my opinion, it seems (to me) that or simply I think that.
