How to open rfc-822 data attachment failure

EML file extension

The EML is the recommended file format for e-mail messages that are saved by e-mail programs such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook. It also contains files that are sent via email or email attachments. However, these files are susceptible to attack from viruses and malware. Therefore a proper verification should be done before opening the EML file. It should therefore be noted that there are EML files with strange names and in different folders, which indicates the presence of the Nimda worm.
EML files were developed in accordance with the industry standard RFC 822. Usually the RFC standard is the standard format created for Arpa Internet text messages, which were first introduced in August 1982. EML files are supplied with ASCII text and can serve as headers and the body of the text can be exported for storage and archiving.
