What do ghosts serve for dessert

Danish Crunchy Cream / The ingeniously simple and extremely tasty dessert

I promise you, you will love this ingeniously simple dessert. The Danish Crunchy Cream inspires everyone, family, friends, acquaintances, colleagues ... Everyone likes it ๐Ÿ˜€ You can portion it in glasses or decorate it in a large glass bowl. A casserole dish also works, of course. You can make this special dessert great for a buffet or bring it with you for grilling and parties. It can be prepared wonderfully, even a day in advance, so it is perfect for many guests. As a conclusion to a fine dinner, it fits just as well as a children's birthday party. Oh, you can tell, I'm a real fan ๐Ÿ˜€

Where does the name come from?

The Danish cream owes its name to its appearance. The raspberry-red stripe between the white cream is reminiscent of the Danish national flag. You have probably already thought

What does the cream taste like?

Definitely after more ๐Ÿ˜€ I can't get enough of her. The cream is wonderfully creamy and fluffy. It tastes totally round and has a slight hint of vanilla. In no case does it taste heavy. The fruity raspberries go perfectly with the cream. My girls prefer to eat them well mixed and then enjoy the pink cream ๐Ÿ™‚ The almond crunch is the icing on the cake. I always make a little more of it and keep sprinkling some over the cream, absolutely heavenly!

Tips for the preparation

As usual, I'll explain how to prepare it with and without the Thermomix. I prepare them without! Thermomix to make it even creamier. You can of course whip the cream in the TM and stir the cream cheese mixture into it, but I recommend adding the cream by hand with a spade.

I use a piping bag with a star nozzle to fill the glasses. Of course, you can also use a spoon, especially if you have to go fast ๐Ÿ˜‰

My recipe is for 4 to 5 people, it depends on the size of your glasses. It can be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc. ๐Ÿ˜€

And now it goes looooooos:

Danish crispy cream recipe

Ingredients for 4-5 servings:

  • 300ml whipped cream
  • 1 packet of cream stabilizer
  • 300g cream cheese
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar (bourbon or homemade)
  • 1 bag of vanilla pudding powder
  • 200g frozen raspberries
  • 50g sliced โ€‹โ€‹almonds
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Preparation:

Put the almonds with the butter and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a small pan and caramelize over medium heat and roast until brown. Please stay on the pan and keep an eye on the almonds. Let cool down.

Beat the cream and cream stiffener with the hand mixer until stiff.

Mix the cream cheese with the sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla pudding powder in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved. Unfortunately you have to try the cream for this dafรผr

Fold the cream into the cream cheese cream.

Pour half of the cream into dessert glasses or a large glass bowl.

Spread the frozen raspberries on top of the cream.

Spread the rest of the cream over the raspberries.

Decorate with the flaked almonds.

Chill until serving.

Bon appetit ๐Ÿ˜€

Preparation with the Thermomix:

Caramelize and roast the sliced โ€‹โ€‹almonds as described above.

Insert the mixer attachment and pour the cream into the saucepan. Beat stiffly at level 3 with eye contact. The time also depends on the temperature of the cream. My chilled cream took a little over 2 minutes.

Remove the mixer attachment and transfer the cream.

Put the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla pudding powder in the mixing bowl and mix for 30 seconds at speed 3.

I recommend you now add the cream cheese cream to the bowl with the cream and fold in the cream by hand. That makes the cream creamier.

If you still want to mix them together in the Thermomix, then add the cream to the cream cheese cream in the pot and stir it for 10 seconds at level 4.

Then arrange as described above ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you enjoy this recipe, maybe it will be one of your favorite recipes โ™ฅ
