How to wear rubber bands for underbite pictures

    FFP2 mask extension?

I currently have to wear the FFP2 mask for many hours every day.
The things made available have rubber bands that are too short, the pressure gives me a headache.

Now I wanted to tie the rubber bands together at the back with a string to lengthen the whole thing. But this changes the position of the mask on my face, because the thing sits differently than with elastic bands behind the ears.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can change that spontaneously? Are these commercial extensions better for the mask fit?

I saw a medical worker yesterday that she had tied the elastic bands around the back of the neck with the help of a plastic piece. That was fine. Unfortunately I have no idea what kind of plastic part it was. It was elongated and had hooks at the ends to hook the elastic bands.

These surgical mask rubbers can be bought by the meter. I use it for my self-sewn masks. I would just cut open the elastic and tie a piece.
All of my posts in this forum reflect my personal opinion. They are not generalizing and my views need not agree with others. This principle always applies, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the article.

I haven't tried anything, but there are different options:

I have that too, but it makes the rubbers shorter rather than longer.

If the FFP2 mask sits on the face with less pressure and just rests on it, then it is no longer as tight as it should be.

Such parts were included in one of my mask deliveries. They are really very practical and come in different lengths. They also use "our" clinic here.
Maybe you can order them in the apo?

I could put something like that together spontaneously. Does the mask then sit in the same place on your face?

Yes. I let the elastic bands run over the outside of my ears, so to speak. But for some it slips on the back of the head. You'd have to try it out. Ponytail wearers have a clear advantage.
